Personal Ministries Department
The Personal Ministries Department of the Malawi Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is committed to advancing the Church’s core mission of making disciples for Jesus Christ. Our primary focus is to equip, train, and mobilize church members for evangelism, outreach, and discipleship.
Through practical training in personal Bible studies, literature evangelism, community service, and other forms of personal witness, we empower the laity to actively participate in sharing the everlasting gospel. Our goal is not only to lead people to Christ but also to nurture and disciple them into mature, faithful followers of Jesus.
Mission Statement
To equip, train, and mobilize every church member to actively participate in evangelism, outreach, and discipleship, leading people to Jesus Christ, nurturing them in the faith, and preparing them for His soon return.
Vision
To build a vibrant, mission-driven Church where every member is actively engaged in personal ministry, resulting in both numerical growth and spiritual maturity throughout Malawi.
Strategic Focus
As part of our strategic vision, we aim to grow the Church’s membership to 1,250,000 by the year 2030. However, our mission extends beyond numerical growth. We are equally committed to fostering spiritual maturity, ensuring that every member grows in faith, Christ-like character, and active service.
We believe that true church growth is achieved when both quantity and quality advance together bringing more people into God’s kingdom while nurturing committed disciples who live and share the gospel
