YOUTH DEPARTMENT
The youth are a clear majority in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Malawi Union Conference. Arguably, the church is young. To ignore the youth is to ignore a large part of the church. It is in this regard that the Youth Department seeks to engage the youth in ministry within the church and in mission outside the church. In this department, the youth are challenged to make bold decisions for Jesus and to live a productive life. This is achieved through discipleship programs, mentorship programs, trainings to impart critical skills for life. The department is open to all youths irrespective of denominational affiliation. Furthermore, it invites all youths to its uplifting spiritual programs, challenging mental activities, exciting social programs and adventurous physical life. This is the youth’s own way of embracing the mission of the church, summed up in the words, “I Will Go.”
