Overview

The Youth Ministries Department of the Malawi Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is committed to nurturing, empowering, and mobilizing young people to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and active participants in the mission of the Church. As young people make up the majority of the Church’s membership in the Malawi Union Conference, the department recognizes them as a vital force for spiritual growth, leadership, and evangelism.

The department provides opportunities for young people to develop spiritually, mentally, socially, and physically through discipleship, mentorship, leadership training, community service, and mission-focused activities. Young people are challenged to make courageous decisions for Christ, discover their God-given potential, and live lives of purpose and service.

Our programmes are open to all young people, regardless of denominational affiliation. We warmly invite every young person to participate in our inspiring spiritual programmes, meaningful fellowship, leadership development, adventurous outdoor activities, and community outreach initiatives. Through these experiences, young people embrace the mission of the Church under the inspiring theme, “I Will Go.”

Mission Statement

To lead young people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, nurture them in Christian discipleship, equip them for leadership and service, and inspire them to actively participate in sharing the everlasting gospel.

Vision

To see every young person growing in Christ, actively engaged in mission, and positively influencing the Church and society through Spirit-filled leadership and Christ-like service.
