Office of the President

The Office of the President provides spiritual, strategic, and administrative leadership for the Malawi Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The President oversees the operations of the Union headquarters and its attached institutions, ensuring that every department and entity remains focused on the Church’s mission and operates in harmony with its policies and values.

The office offers guidance, counsel, leadership, and support to conferences, fields, institutions, and ministries across the Union. Working collaboratively with church leaders at every level, the President promotes unity, accountability, and mission effectiveness in fulfilling the gospel commission.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Office of the President encourages every conference and institution within the Malawi Union Conference to develop and implement strategic plans that are practical, mission-driven, and aligned with the vision and strategic priorities of the Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division and the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

To lead a united, Spirit-filled, and mission-focused Church that faithfully proclaims the everlasting gospel, nurtures disciples, and prepares people for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
